The Consulate General proudly welcomed a new cohort of Italian founders participating in the INNOVIT – Italian Innovation and Culture Hub Startups Bootcamp, strengthening Italy’s presence in Silicon Valley and its connection to the global innovation ecosystem.

During the program, participants immersed themselves in the Bay Area’s dynamic entrepreneurial landscape. Consul General Massimo Carnelos and Consul Davide Corriero visited INNOVIT to greet the founders at the start of their acceleration journey, emphasizing the Consulate General’s strong support for initiatives that connect Italian creativity and design with cutting-edge technology.

The Bootcamp culminated on March 5 with Demo Day, opened with institutional remarks by Consul Corriero, where founders showcased their ventures to investors, mentors, and industry leaders. The following day, the Consulate General hosted the cohort for a breakfast reception, continuing the conversation on collaboration, knowledge exchange, and building lasting bridges between Italian innovation and the West Coast.

This year’s cohort stood out for its cross-sector diversity, demonstrating how Italian ingenuity thrives at the intersections of industries, technologies, and markets. Their energy, ambition, and global perspective exemplify the kind of innovation that positions Italy as a forward-looking, globally engaged nation.

The Consulate General extends its gratitude to the INNOVIT team and remains fully committed to supporting Italian innovators as they translate creativity and vision into global impact, reinforcing Italy’s image as dynamic, innovative, and deeply engaged with contemporary challenges.
