Effective 11 January 2024, the Italian government now requires fingerprinting for all national visas.
Effective 11 January 2024, therefore, all applicants for national visas must find an appointment on https://prenotami.esteri.it, and visit our location at 2590 Webster Street with their application materials. No exceptions can be made at this time.
Applicants who were permitted to apply through other channels, such as U.S. military servicemembers and contractors at bases with U.S. passport agents, or students attending AACUPI academic institutions, can no longer do so. Our Honorary Consuls can no longer assist applicants in our jurisdiction with national visa applications.
The Prenot@mi website holds all available appointments for the visa service. Cancellations and new appointments are made available daily on the Prenot@mi website.
