CONTEST FOR K-12 SCHOOLS AND UNIVERSITIES

 

The Week of the Italian Language in the World (WILW), scheduled from October 14th to 20th 2024, will be entitled “Italian and the Book: The World between the Lines.” The Consulate General will host a contest inspired by this theme, which aims to explore the link between language and literature in the contemporary world and highlights the role of literature as a vehicle of Italian cultural heritage, values and identity.

 

Video entries for the contest must be received by December 6, 2024 for universities and February 15, 2025 for schools.

The awards ceremony will be held at the Consulate General of Italy in San Francisco on the following days:

High Schools and Universities: Thursday, April 10, 2025.

Elementary and Middle Schools: Tuesday, April 15, 2025.

Video conferencing will be available for students unable to attend the awards ceremony.
