Italian Navy Ship Amerigo Vespucci arrives in Honolulu

On July 25th, Honolulu and Hawaii have welcomed the arrival of the most beautiful ship in the world, the Italian Navy ship Amerigo Vespucci.
Consul General Sergio Strozzi, together with Mayor Rick Blangiardi, with the Director of the Italian Cultural Institute of San Francisco Alberta Lai, and the Honorary Consul of Italy in Honolulu Prof. Michele Carbone have greeted the Vespucci Commander, Giuseppe Lai and his crew, celebrating this historical moment in the relations between Italy and Hawaii.
Commander Lai and CG Strozzi have later been received by Hawaii Lieutenant Governor Sylvia Luke.
Huge thanks to Mayor Blangiardi, to Lt. Gov. Luke and to Hawaii Governor Josh Green for being such amazing and passionate supporters of Amerigo Vespucci Ship and of Italy.
