“COVID-tested” flights – Alitalia (New York-Rome) and Delta (Atlanta-Rome)

UPDATE

The Italian Health Ministry has extended Covid-tested direct flights between the USA and Italy until 30 June 2021. In addition to Rome Fiumicino, the Milan Malpensa airport has also been authorized to experiment with Covid-tested flights from New York and Atlanta.

Please note: not all direct international flights between the specified airports are Covid-tested; please be sure to verify when booking that your chosen flight is Covid-tested.

Please note also that beginning 23 March, all passengers on Covid-tested flights from the USA to Italy must fill out and submit the required Passenger Locator Form (PLF) online. For additional information, please see the following webpage from the Italian Health Ministry:
