Four years ago, INNOVIT – Italian Innovation and Culture Hub opened its doors in San Francisco with a clear mission: to build stronger connections between the Italian and US tech ecosystems and bring Italian innovation closer to Silicon Valley.
Four years later, the numbers tell part of the story:
23 programs · 541 companies · 1,702 founders · 1,114 mentors · 1,852 mentoring sessions
But beyond the numbers, INNOVIT has become a meeting point for entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, institutions and the wider tech community — a place where ideas, talent and opportunities from Italy and the Bay Area come together and create new synergies.
INNOVIT also meant a rebranding effort to go beyond the many clichés and promote Italy as an emerging startup nation, with a solid innovation ecosystem, a large pool of talent, leading R&D and academic institutions, growing venture capital resources, and dedicated regulatory frameworks.
Four years of building bridges, creating connections and opening new opportunities.
