Please be informed that on 23, 24 and 25 February 2026 the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation will carry out scheduled technical operations on the Prenot@mi portal. These activities, which form part of a broader effort to enhance the IT infrastructure of the diplomatic and consular network, are aimed at improving system performance and the quality of the service provided to users. As a consequence, the platform will be temporarily suspended and will not be available for any operation on the above-mentioned dates. The portal will resume normal operations on 26 February 2026.
In order to ensure the regular processing of already scheduled appointments and to minimize inconvenience to the public, users are kindly requested to carefully take note of the following operational instructions:
- bookings for appointments scheduled between 26 and 29 February (inclusive) must be confirmed no later than 22 February 2026;
- users holding appointments between 28 February and 7 March 2026 must confirm their appointment no later than 22 February 2026;
- users with appointments on 5, 6 and 7 March 2026 will receive a specific confirmation e-mail from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
Users who have appointments on the days in which the portal will be unavailable are also invited, where possible, to download and safely store their booking confirmation in advance, in order to avoid any difficulty in accessing such documentation during the suspension period.
Users are invited to check the status of their bookings in good time and to regularly verify their e-mail inbox (including the spam/junk folder) for any automatic notifications relating to Prenot@mi appointments.
