Com.It.Es. Elections 2026 – How to Request Registration on the Electoral Roll
Elections for the renewal of the COMITES will be held by the end of 2026.
The Committees of Italians Abroad (Com.It.Es.) represent the Italian community in its relations with Italian diplomatic and consular missions. They also work to promote the integration of the Italian expatriate community with the foreign country in which they live.
Eligible voters may participate in this important election provided that they meet the legal requirements for voting, reside within the consular district, and have been registered with AIRE in the consular district for at least SIX MONTHS as of the date of the elections.
Voting will take place by mail. However, unlike Italian parliamentary elections and referendums, the electoral package will be sent ONLY to voters who have expressly requested to be registered on the electoral roll for the Com.It.Es. elections by November 4, 2026.
IMPORTANT: In order to receive the ballot and vote, voters must therefore request registration on the electoral roll from this Consulate General NO LATER THAN NOVEMBER 4, 2026.
