Italian citizenship: Halving from 10 to 5 years the period of legal residence in Italy of non-EU foreigners of age for the request to be granted Italian citizenship.<br \/>\n2. Increasing guardianship employment contract \u2013 regulation of illegitimate dismissals: Repeal.<br \/>\n3. Small enterprises \u2013 dismissals and related indemnities: Partial repeal.<br \/>\n4. Partial repeal of rules on the setting of time limits to the employment contract, maximum duration and conditions for extensions and renewals.<br \/>\n5. Exclusion of joint and several liability of the principal, the contractor and the subcontractor for accidents suffered by the employee of the contractor or subcontractor, as a consequence of the specific risks inherent in the activity of the contractors or subcontractors: Repeal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who can vote abroad?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Voters registered with AIRE (Anagrafe degli Italiani Residenti all\u2019Estero), who receive the electoral package directly at their address of residence abroad<\/li>\n<li>Italians temporarily abroad for at least three months, exclusively FOR WORK, STUDY OR MEDICAL CARE REASONS, and family members living with them abroad.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>PLEASE NOTE<\/strong>: voters temporarily abroad must submit a specific request to the Italian municipality of residence BY MAY 7 in order to receive the electoral package.<\/p>\n<p><strong>When do you vote?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>In Italy<\/strong>, voting takes place on Sunday 8 and Monday 9 June 2025.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Voters abroad vote in advance, by mail<\/strong>. Packages will be sent to the address of residence\u00a0<strong>by MAY 21<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PLEASE NOTE:<\/strong>\u00a0Voters who\u00a0<strong>have not yet received their electoral package BY MAY 25<\/strong>\u00a0may contact their consular office to obtain a\u00a0<strong>DUPLICATE<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How do I vote?<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Voting is by mail<\/strong>. Ballot papers must be returned to the consulate, carefully following\u00a0<strong>the instructions on the information sheet<\/strong>\u00a0in the ballot envelope and using only the material provided with it. Only voted ballot papers delivered to the relevant consular office\u00a0<strong>NO LATER THAN 4 p.m. local time on Thursday JUNE 5<\/strong>\u00a0will be sent to Italy for processing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"What are we voting for?
