Ther are currently active wildfires in the rural areas of Northern California in Mendocino, Butte, and Tehama counties, approximately 65 miles north-east of San Francisco. Some road closures are in effect and local authorities have already begun issuing evacuation orders to residents in the affected areas. Citizens are urged to heed local police warnings and instructions, and to monitor their local air quality.
